Threading, aka Thread Lift, is a popular treatment used for lifting of skin, increasing volume, and treating various types of scars. Polydioxanone (PDO) threads are made of an absorbable material that once placed under the skin dissolve over a period of 4-6 months. Placement of threads result in stimulation of collagen while lifting, firming and tightening skin. Although results vary from person to person, on the average the threading procedure may last 12-15 months.
